I'm just pondering something unbeknown to me.
Is it possible to connect my hard drive (Western Digital 40gig, 7200rpm 8mb FSB) that was used as a normal hard drive... to my pc now its been changed to the ps2 format and browse it using a program of some sort so that i can add elf's, mp3's, movie clips etc into the specific folder that some programs work by?
I created an exploit disc that booted keylauncher first, then with that i launched ps2menu-k and found a guide on how to transfer the elfs onto the HD after modifying the KL.DAT file in order to save lots of space on my mem card. This worked fine, i am now loading my elfs thru keylauncher from my hard drive..But i have more elfs that i want to add to my hard drive. Could anyone shed some light on this matter? I have two USB mass storage devices (1st=nokia n-gage, 2nd=USB AR MAX drive) and i know i can put elfs on them and add them to my HD some how....but when i try using keylauncher to browse my usb devices it freezes. so a pc program that someone knows of would be very helpful indeed

no not really

if you want you pc to recognise you ps2 hdd then you need WinHiip or something like that, cant remember the spelling

but im not sure if it will let you do what your intending to do...

but i thought id reply coz no one else has

I have winhiip but all thats lets you do is view the installed games, and i have a directory on this hard drive names APPS, which i've stored my ELFS in, and linked keylauncher to, all im wanting to do is put more elfs in this folder on my HD without having to make ANOTHER exploit installer CD and then use ps2menu-k to trasnfer the elfs from my memcard to my HD....coz thats a ballache lol
