i want to mod my PS2 as a summer project
do all mod chips allow u to use HDLoader
is there anything that i need other than a PS2 hard drive
is the Duo 2 SE chip good
its hella cheap

As long as you have an older ps2,
and a compatible Hdd you should be okay,

With a mod-chip you would be able to burn your own copies,
I would get the chip and a dvd burner instead.
that way you always have permanent backups.
With less the hassle of connecting the HDD to your pc,
and ftp-ing the games.

i got my PS2 with GT3
do i really need a network adapter to put on the back of the hard drive if i install one

yes you have to have a network adapter because this provides the power to the hdd

without this it wont work

i found it at modchipstore.com for 20
am i getting a good deal
one more question
i think i have a v4 ps2
when you look at the installation instructions
there is a gap and no gap version
whats the difference
