Hello i am extremely new to "copying" ps2, right then i have a few little proggies that may come in useful, Alcohol 120%,Nero 6 reloaded,DVD shribk, DVD decrypter and CloneDVD i don't know which ones i'll need. I have 100 ritek DVD-R 4x. A sony dru 530a DVD-RW. I can copy the actual disk using Alcohol but when i put it in the new silver slimline ps2 it says please insert a ps2 format disk. So i'm slighty confused? Ta very much in advance

Yeah, if you don't want to chip your machine you can use the Swap Magic Disc alternative combined with either a replacement flip-top lid or some clips like Swap tool Pro to fool the boot switches. There's quite a few sites supplying this stuff so you'll need to start hunting them down cos I ain't recommending one over the other (I sourced my bits in Australia as I live over this way!). There's also a huge amount of info on these forums so get searching and read through the threads as Jaz97 says!
