Help with "http://swapmagicfix.com/" anyone?

Ok, I went to http://swapmagicfix.com/ for a patch. It's help links at the top said to use Alcohol 120%. Do I have to? Can't I use something like CDCreator, DVD Decrypter, or something? And after I do that, what do I do with the disc I created (assuming I am supposed to use a cd not dvd from what I gathered)?

Please help. I try to save as many of my ps2 games before the kids trash them (although if I was to asked them who scratched the "Ratchet & Clank" game, I always get "not me" or "I don't know").

Do I just click on MODE/ISO/WRITE just like I did for the game to get it to burn properly? Or is there something else I need to do?
