Im currently interested in buying a flip top with swap magick boot disk and have a couple of questions.
I need to know what the latest version of swap magic and is there a version that will allow you to play dvd9 games.
I need to know what v. version my PS2 is, I can tell I see 8 screws at the bottom.

the lastest version is 3.6, and no it doesn't play dvd9 games (but you can rebuild most to fit dvd5). what is the the number on the back, scph-######

That's funny i just got thur intalling my Fliptop right now or my v9 ps2 don't get me wrong but i think yours is a v9 or 10 if it has 8 screws because my did but i would still check you can check verison and install at www.chipzone.com mine work just fine

version 4-11 all have 8 screws, BUT v4-7 is a little different than v9-11.

thats true because i didn't have to worry about reset/eject wires like on the one they showed on the web site plus intead of 4 little screw there were only 2 i had to take out then i put my flip top on and there ya go it worked. Im mad i waited so long the slide card was giving me hell

You really don't have to worry about to many dvd9 games i have over 100 backed up games and most of then you can make them into a dvd5 like Sly said
