I found this on the Web:

http://www.supermediastore.com/taiyo-yuden-16x-dvd-r-4-7gb-shiny-...

100 Taiyo Yuden 16X DVD-R disks for $49 plus shipping. I recently upgraded to a 16X drive but cannot find media. And the person who referred me to this board tells me he uses Taiyo Yuden pretty much exclusively.

Is this something I should invest in, or can I do better?

:)

you probably will NOT find anything better in terms of 16x media, while the Verbatim 16x is VERY close in quality, if you are ordering ONLINE only~ these 16x TYs are THE best money can buy~ :)

go for it, you will not be disappointed~ if there are problems, it's because of FIRMWARE issues with your new burner, not the media itself~ just my 2 cents~ :)

come on back to AD if you have issues w/ TY, i'm here for ya huckleberry~
