So, I just heard about this new wave artist named Klaus Nomi, and the documentary on his career titled The Nomi Song. Supposedly he was a well known artist in the NYC new wave scene of the late 70s and early 80s. My sister, who works at Universal, told me about this film, and it sounds really cool. This guy was trained in opera, and wore alien-like makeup; and yet was highly respected. He even played with Daivd Bowie on SNL. Anyway, I just found out about this guy, but he seems really cool. I checked out the film's website at http://www.thenomisong.com and found a lot of info on him. But I am wondering, does anyone else know about him or the film? Has anyone seen the film?
