why wont some games work after install to...

I have a PS2 DMS4 rpo w/120GB HDD why after i load some games they do not play the screen just goes black is says the game is installed correctly dose it happen to just some games because of scrachtes or is it just ... i dont know thats why im askin thanks

Is it only certain games? If so then chances are you need to enable modes for them to work.Go to www.hdadvance.com and check compatablilty. Press Select and enable the correct modes.

activating modes fixes some games but not all.If your game isnt in the list of mode changes or the list of known not working games then your out of luck. What games dont work?

you may need to activate mode 3 on butnout3. if you're using hdl/hda then highlight the game, press select, highlight mode 3 then press X. press select to get back to the game list, and press X to play the game. usually mode 3 fixes whatever issue you're having.
