Okay here it goes. I have been able to mount all 3 cds for Vampire the Masquerade-Bloodlines using Daemon Tools no problem. I am able to start installing the game no problem. Towards the end of installation I recive this Error. "Error 1309 <program dir> Verify that the file exists and that you can access it" I am given 3 options "Abort"Retry"Ignore" upon aborting several time and looking for answers I was not able to find any. So I took about 10 mins clicking "Ignore" and finally the install process got back to normal. Now the game is finally installed! Lets play! But wait... I start the game and my monitor recieves no signal but I can hear the music of the game in the backround?!?!? Pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL I am able to get back to my desktop. I feel this may be a problem many of us soon may face so let us band together now and solve this! Thanks for the support _Unclean_
Also I am able to see the opening of the game where they advertise themselfs but after all that ,When I am going to the main screen my monitor gets no signal.
I'm pretty sure the game is Safedisc 3.20 cd protected. Download and install A-Ray Scanner and scan CD1. Try creating a "mini image" to launch the game. If you backup pc games on a frequent basis,I recommend you purchase the Plextor Premium (52\32\52x) or Plextor PX-712A DVD Burner, both confirmed to backup as high as Safedisc 4.0
