hello people, I'm writing as a last resort. i have a movie with a digital clock across the top which counts as the movie runs of course. I need to find out if I can remove this and how?? I've read the forums and have downloaded virtualdub also the logo and subtitle remover. it tells me that i have to change the movie to bitmap in paint, but it won't support the file, because it's a movie avi.format
Can anyone advise how to get this done in detail if at all possible, please?? not much hair left at the moment!!!!help me save what's left!
thanks for looking

Try using the logoaway filter, or the Region Remove filter. They're much easier to understand.
Try and find my post with the picture of the logoaway settings.

Ok , I've found your page and followed the instructions to the end, but nothing is happening. It takes me back to the double screen and the clock is still there. it's not doing anything. Can you suggest anything further, I'm like a baby at this, I have no idea. I've looked through all the other posts but nothing past this point. Would it be too much to ask for more help?? Let me know if I'm being a pain.
regards

You just need to adjust the X and Y so the logo disappears in the right hand pane of VirtualDub.
Then you save it again (with a different name), or frameserve it.
