Hi, I recenly had to sned my 3.0 ghz laptop in to HP for a new motherboard, wondering if this comp can handle dvd squeeze until my good comp comes back? 600 mhz celeron
128mb ram
5200 rpm hard drive
14.2 gb of hard drive?

I did backups with dvdshrink on a emachine 300 mhz celeron 64 mb ram and 14 gig hd left. Worked alot slower than my amd xp but it still did the job, so I'd say give it a try, just don't try and run anything while doing it.

I was using DVD Shrink with quality enhancements on a 600MHz laptop with 512 MB RAM, took up to 5 hours with some movies. It will do it, it'll just take a while.
