Hey people!

Been awhile since I post anything relevantly good...so I am using this as my first post since being back!

So, as some of you already know (and already ragged on me about it) I had a nice little adventure this past Memorial Day weekend.

Here is my story, however, I am going to shorten it a bit so it isn't too long:

So I was on this site, called Plentyoffish.com, and was just sitting back and doing nothing. This girl ends up emailing me and just having a nice general chat. So far be it from me to not want to talk. Anyways, we continued to email each other and then started to im one another and we started liking each other, to be honest, her more than me, cause I didn't know what to think. She was really into me and started texting me about how, "I think I am falling for you," and "I wish you were here," and nice stuff to hear. Well, we started spending a crap load of time on the phone and started talking almost constantly, she would even call me up all the time just to say that she missed me...great stuff.

Anyways, she finally decided that she wanted to move out of where she lived, which was Iowa, that is about 1000 miles away from where I live in Virginia. Ok, so I was like, sure, let's give it a shot and see what happens, but first we will have to meet and talk about ALOT of things. So it was decided. Ok, so now we move up to about 1 week ago and I just find out from work that I was getting like 3 days off, so I tell her, and she is ecstatic, but THEN I find out that I got an extra day off, so now I had 4. So, I decide to leave on Friday morning RIGHT after work, which I worked for 8 hours and then I would drive 15 hours to see her, so I wouldn't get any sleep for awhile. So I did just that.

Now, I get there and things started out SO great, everything was kewl, and I do mean EVERYTHING (well in a way) but then about 36 hours before I was supposed to leave, things went to hell. She really started to get snotty and talking to me sarcastically, and saying how because I wasn't really paying attention to getting from her house to her work and vice versa I must not care (gee, now why would I drive 15 hours, 1000miles if I didn't care *duh!*). So, I didn't take to that kindly and we argued. So, I finally decide to go ahead and leave. And now I was supposed to pick her up from work, mind you, at 2pm on Monday, Memorial Day. So I get there and she is busy, so I wait, then this guy comes in, and starts staring at me and then looking at her, so she finally isn't busy, then this dude goes out to the back to talk to her, so I wait....and wait....and wait...for about 15 min. Then I go and knock on the door...no answer. So I go out to my car and call...no answer, at this point, I knew that something was up. So, I went ahead and finally got in touch with her and she said that she was alittle busy and I said that I would wait outside...so I wait, and wait for another 30 minutes, finally texting her and saying, if you are busy I can come back, and she proceeds to tell me to come back in about 30 mins. So I say, I will just stay here. Well I started talking to my friends and an hour goes by, and the dudes truck is gone....so I call inside of where she worked and her co-worked said that she wasn't there and left already! HOLY $H*T, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! So I call her...no answer, and finally realized what had happened, he pulled his truck to the back and she went out the back door.

So I was pissed...and finally decided to leave and go back home. Well about 2 hours down the road she calls me and says, "Do you still need help getting home." I was so pissed, I was am not about to write what I was thinking...lol!

Anyways, I got home finally on Tuesday morning...and started in on the mIRC chat (this is where you all come in, you know who you are) and proceed to tell my story. So I get laughed at and everything and I was laughing too cause it was funny stuff to hear everyones input...LMAO!!!

Ok, so about a couple of hours go by and I get this instant message from her, here is the conversation:

[13:16] HER: i see u made it home ok
[13:16] ME: yeah i did
[13:17] HER: Ok good
[13:17] HER: I was worried
[13:17] ME: why...
[13:17] ME: you sure didn't seem like you were
[13:17] HER: Just wanted to make sure you made it
[13:17] ME: well i did make it home ok...got home about 3 hours ago
[13:17] ME: btw...nice what you wrote about me....
(BTW...I said that because she wrote on her website that I was a jerk and I couldn't believe that crap, but when I mentioned it, she just so happened to delete that account after I said it.)
[13:22] *** HER has been ignored.

So I blocked her...but hey, that's not the end of it. Apparently her friend passed away the same weekend that I was there and she started giving me a SERIOUS guilt trip about how she missed him and that I was there.

HOLY CRAP!!!

So she texts me this stuff and I say that I am sorry for her loss, but that isn't the end...she keeps talking to me and trying to make me feel guilty. I mean, I am not insensitive, but man, why keep going. So, I FINALLY decided to change my number.

And THAT'S my glorious fun filled weekend...was good, ended REALLY CRAPPY.

So, maybe this thread can be used for funny relationship stories or whathave you...but in the meantime, go ahead...have a good laugh at this one! I know it was dumb in a way, but hey...that is what makes it funny!
