Burnig .img file to DVD+R?

I download a movie and it come up as a .img file. When I burn it using DVD decriptor it goes on no problem, put it in my DVD player and all I get is a "no play" message. Even more funny it plays no problem on my computers DVD burner.
Some help would be great

Your standalone doesn't like the media probably. Try burning at a slower speed (4x or slower) or try a different brand of media. Does you standalone play both -R and +R media? What brand of media did you use and at what speed did you burn? You can use dvd identifier or dvdinfopro to ID the media's manufacturer's code.
