i recently downloaded hdloader from a torrent site and what type of disc do i need to put it on(ie DVD-RW)?

it came with two files...hdloader.mds and hdloader.mdf

are these the only files...if not what am i missing?

can it be cd-rw or it has to cd-r?
but its too big the files are 1.2gb and like 3mb?

cd-rw might not work. That sounds VERY big for hd loader, it might be edited to be burnt to dvd but im not sure.

stefanous, hdloader.mds and hdloader.mdf are Alcohol 120% files. .mds are .mdf are usually for burning CDs. HDLoader at that size is the DVD version. You can probably just burn those to a DVD but I haven't tried that with .mds and .mdf files.

What you really want is the one I got hold of - hdloader.iso which can be burnt straight to a blank DVD-R with no problems. It works as I've tested it. What gets me though is how people upload torrents like this "unrar'd". That is -

hdloader.iso = 942,374,912 bytes
hdloader.rar (containing only above .iso) = 119,459,385 bytes

F**k downloading 900+ MBs when you could download the same thing rar'd at only 120MB! Some uploaders are damn inconsiderate, lol! Go figure :/

how do i burn the hdloader files on dvd-r??

i use Nero 6...does it have to be bootable disc or just a data disc??

what files do i need on the dvd??? a list would be good?
