i have 2 xvid files both around 700mb, and im using the wizard in tmpgenc 2.5 to convert to pal dvd, but the resulting file will be over 6GB!!! (ive tried reducing the bitrate, but tmpgenc just crashes) is it possible to convert these xvid files to another format and then convert them the pal dvd, with a smaller file size, ideally 4.3GB, im not that botheres about losing some quality, thanks

well, dvd is naturally big, but can't you change the bitrate?

xvid back to dvd or even svcd PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!
