Hi All-
If this has been asked before, please excuse me, I have tried the search function and cannot find what I need. I recently purchased an Epson Stylus Photo R200 injet printer--this can print inkjet quality artwork etc. directly on injet printable DVD's. I ordered and received 100 of the Taiyo Yuden DVD+R DVD's--I always (well usually) use Cdcovers.cc for my DVD cases--but I can not find a site where the actual disk artwork is. I am sure it is available somewhere--I could not find it on any of the sites I normally use. Can anyone help me find a site where I can download the required injet printable covers?? I would greatly appreciate it--Thanks so much for any help anyone can offer--
Whitfield

I use cdcovers.cc for some of my covers too.
I also get my cd label prints there. When you find the name of the movie, click on it, and it gives the options of cover, cd, inside, etc.... The cd is the disc label.

Whitfield......
You have bought a great little printer! It's quiet, and does a great printing job. One thing I really LOVE about mine, is that it will print a whole dvd case cover, on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I like to use glossy photo paper (looks more professional). My HP printer would cut off about a 1/4" of the cover, because of the printer's grippers, I guess.
If you try the glossy photo paper, it prints better if you set the paper type to "Premium Glossy Photo Paper". I have also found a couple hundred, brand new, dvd cases at BlockBuster (in their dumpster) on Wednesdays (not every week though).. Saved me a bunch of money! :) When they get new movies in, they switch them to their "lockable" cases, and throw the original cases away.
Good luck, and enjoy!

JVC--
Hey, thanks for the advice--I have already printed a few DVD cases with this new printer and they come out perfect--I also had an HP printer-#3650-- I liked it, but now had no use for it, so I gave to a friend--never used glossy paper for covers, but I have a few 8 1/2 X 11, so will try them--Great tip about Blockbuster's--I have one right down the street--will check their dumpster Wed!!Again, thanks for the tips!

Whitfield,
Thats still a pretty good price for cartridges, hopefully it's good ink. I use compatable cartridges too and can't tell any difference between them and oem. Here's where I get mine. http://private.abacus24-7.com/(ov5xnvbcjdqx5ornxzshwvi5)/home.aspx? I order an extra black and yellow cartridge since they get used up first.

Mort--
Thanks--Actually I did order a couple extra black cause I knew they would go the fastest--but not the yellow--Oh well--live and learn--Still have not printed on a DVD--about to try it now--I thought I should print them before burning, but book says to burn first--so I am in the process of burning--I am only using 2.4X burning speed cause I don't want to take any chances with these disks! hehe

Hi people,
I'm in the UK and was wondering if anyone knows of what type of printer I can buy that will print direct onto printable DVDs? I've heard lots of good things about the Epson R200 but I don't think that's available in the UK. Any ideas?
Also for the actual sleeve cases what's the best program to use to print that out? Up until now I have just been printing them out direct from the image, resizing them myself. And can anyone give me the EXACT dimensions to set the image at so it fits nicely in the case? I always seem to get it a little too big or too small!
Thanks guys. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I use the templates that are in the software that comes with Memorex labels or covers. I fit it to the template, and print it out on glossy paper. Then I let it set overnight, and cut it out the next day. Fits perfectly....
Sorry, I don't know anything they sell in the UK. Epson makes other models that print on the discs too. Can't go wrong with Epson...........
Good luck!

Canon makes a model available in the UK that has a tray and prints directly on cd's and dvd's. I'm not sure what the model is.

Well if you're in England you may want to look into the Canon series of printers ..... ie .... the pixma 3000, 4000, 5000 models as well as a couple of new models that are now coming avalible .... i685, i950 I think
here is a link where you can get a bit of info .... it deals primarilly with trying to mod a us version but there is still info there to be had.

http://covers.to/index.php
The ink from abacus24-7 is very good. They also have great customer service.
Hey mort, has that customcdlabel.com site been updated for a while? I can't find any of the newer releases there.Only older titles.

They never have had the selection that cdcovers.cc has but I still usually look there 1st cause I like their covers and they don't have all the adverts.
