I've been using Memorex for awhile now and they work fine for me. I think it also depends on what burner you've got too, there are some burners out there that won't even burn PS2 games, but they're more expensive.

I've heard Pioneer burners are really good. I have a Sony DVD-RW DRU(not sure of the numbers, it's on my other system). And I think Plextor writers are good too.

I thought the disc depends on what kind of burner you have...mine is kinda old so I'm getting the Memorex ones cuz they're on sale, unless theres better ones for PS2 games that are easy to find?

Well, even if you have top-of-the-line media (like Verbatim), and you burn a PS2 game on a burner that's well known for problems, you can still get a bad burn.
I'm using Memorex cuz they're on sale too lol.

The above link shows some good deals.
And doesn't MCC mean Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation?

I agree with Verbatims. However, please try to find out where the discs you're buying were made. Yes, Taiyo Yuden is supposed to be great, at least the ones from Japan. I have some that were manufactured in Taiwan, absolute crap, not even good enough for movies, they had horrible dye spread.
I bought about 15 Memorex (CMC Magnetics) DVD+Rs and I didn't really have any problems with them, until I started burning them at high speeds. Although the media faq floating around here cites CMC magnetics as coaster material, I for one have never really had too many problems with them. Any of the "El Cheapo" brands have the limitations with speed, and with quality of the burns.
For instance, I have a copy of MGS3 with really bad load times on CMC Magnetics. I also have it burned on a Sony-branded RICOHJPN disc, and it works really well.
So, in the end, it's going to be up to you. Whatever your price range, whatever you're willing to spend. For games I really like, I use RICOHJPN brand discs that I buy for over $1 USD per disc!
So yeah, know that CMC really isn't that bad, you just have to burn it at under 4X (regardless of what it says on the front), but you should know, you can expect slightly longer load times than Verbatim, some discs can go bad, and they're just NOT as good as some other brands.

If you live in UK a good place to buy media is PC World. They have got an offer on at the moment. £10 off 50 x Verbatim DVD-R. They were £29.99 but are now £19.99. I used all 50 and ALL worked fine. If you don't live near a store you can buy of there website http://www.pcworld.co.uk
Good luck,
Carl
I've just signed up at Console Grab, where you can get free consoles, including the new PSP
Just complete one of their offers and refer friends to do the same and you're done.

Also, its not a scam because the BBC did a report and got a free PS2.

psycho82, it seems that they have taken this offer off. They don't even have them at all on the website, let a loan the offer. Maybe if you phone PC World or visit one of there stores they might tell you if they have them. You can locate your nearest store on the website.
Good luck,
Carl
