I TRIED TO ADD A FILE AND I DIDNT WORK, I ALSO TRIED ADDING A FOLDER AND THAT DIDNT WORK EITHER. I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. CAN ANYONE HELP ME. I ALSO TRIED MAKING A VCD OUT OF IT USING NERO EXPRESS. I COULD FIT THREE EPIDODS ON A CD. ONLY THE FIRST EPISODE WOULD PLAY . IT WOULDNT LET ME SKIP ONTO THE NEXT TWO EPISODES. CAN ANYONE HELP ME

What about authoring a DVD containing all the episodes with DVD Lab?

Hi,

Okay, the best and maybe only way to fix this problem it to convert all the files at once (at the same time) using divxtodvd to create only one video_ts file.

This is rather easy just follow the steps below:

For your information a dvd can not have more than one video_ts file on it, or if it does it will not be able to see the difference in them and will anyhow only recognize one of them (generally the first video_ts file burned onto dvd) thus will loop the file over and over again.

In order to do this:

1) open DivxToDVD
2) go to the vanilla envelope on the side to browse through files and select on of the files you want to burn.
3) go to vanilla envelope and select another file to burn
4) continue to do so until all the files you want to burn have been added in this manner
5) Now you can either check the box "burn" if you want copytodvd to burn the selected files after conversion is finished, or not.
6) continue as you have always done for launching divxtodvd

The result should be one video_ts file with all the files in it you desired and also all of them should be able to be read on your stand alone player.

The only problem that may remain for you is that the resulting video_ts file may be too big for you to put onto on 4.7 DVD. Use shrink to compress file or separate you files 6 on one DVD and 6 on another or go to Double Layer media. Also you may have to do a trial version to make sure that the TV series is ordered in the right manner, 1st episode, 2nd episode, etc (if this is of importance to you).

Hope this will have helped you out.
