problem with playing burned Alien Hominid

ok i burnt a iso file of Alien Hominid do a dvd-r and when i put it in my ps2 it boots up like any other game ( cause i got a dms4 pro chip) then i start playing the game with my girl and we get threw chapters 1-1,1-2,1-3,1-4. and when we get to chapter 1-5 we start to play the game and when we fly around in our space ship and get our ships parts then we start fighting so bosses we kill the frist one then the 2nd one comes out we kill him to but when he dies his life meter does not go away and nothing happens after that... no movie sceens or and of lvl.. we just fly around the screen and nothing happens ... so if anybody can help PLEASE HELP my girl is driving me up a wall about getting this game to work so she can fish playing it
