Could anyone tell me what I've got going on here. I'm using USB Extreme to backup Metal gear 3. Loads fine on the playstation. I start out with new game and it looks like it's about to load then it sneds me right back to the main menu screen. I put it on my hard drive as a cd. Should I have put it as DVD instead? Maybe that's the problem. Any suggestions. Sorry I'm even newer than a noob.

cirlce advances in the menu with metal gear...just a thought :)

I am LMAO. I am literally doubled over with tears in my eyes. I have to reload this game and try it again. You're absolutely right. I've been pressing the X button the whole time. This is what you get when you let noobs like me ask question on a public forum. I am embarrassed though. Still LMAO...

I fighted with the same problem just couple of hours ago and I was like WTF until I remembered how MGS acted with PS1...!

lol, When i first got this game i started to panic< jumping around yelling "WTF IS WRONG?" and I thought I got ripped off or something, then i started pushing every single button on the controller, and then i finally pushed "o" .. im like.. "oh..."
