If some of you aren't aware, you're required to patch .img files on your iso's to play a certain game online. Kinda like a CD key for pc games, the DNA$ code is inbedded onto a dvd, and cannot be copied by simple dvd decrypter. There is a tutorial on how to capture a DNA$ from a retail game and put it on your burnt one, I'm not going to explain that. But i can save you some steps. Below is a list of DNA$ looking like this (example) XX XX 4F 2A E3... If this looks totally confusing to you, please read http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html , don't worry if your banned from ps2nfo, it will still load... trust me i'd know. Anyway the last 3 sets of given DNA$ code are the same for ALL makes of that specific game, so if sony wants to ban the DNA$ with "4F 2A E3", everyone with the retail game will not be able to play... suckers. What you have to do is simple make up any 2 sets of numbers 0-9 and A-F.
I'll use Killzone as an example:
(Disc ID = XX XX 08 30 1C)
Thus a working DNA$ would be "04 AD __ __ __) ....filling in the blanks with above, i cannot complete the DNA$ due to legal issues but hopefully you understand. It can be any combination, number-number, letter-number, letter-letter. Just make up the first 2 sets and patch your .img files (READ THE TUTORIAL)
Well time for the good stuff..

Are you sure you'r allowed to post that..? :S

-Mike

ps. Surely if people guess them then it will eventually conflict with someone elses "estimate" and cause them to get banned.

a loop hole has been found allowing the posts of partial DNA$, and about the conflict, its the risk you take... make a new DNA$ heh.

For those who have trouble in math, there are 104,976 different combinations of guessing.

to be honest, i really don't know... If it doesn't work, you're out a blank dvd. If it works, you can play online. Do the benifits out weigh the risk?

If you are banned because of your DNA$ you are only banned with that game right? And all of your other online games will still work online and for the game that your banned with all you would have to do is change the DNA$ right?

One more thing when guessing the first four places does it have to be like ## LL (#-numbers L-Letters) or can it be LL LL or ## ## or just all mixed up any which way? And can you repeat the letters or numbers?
