I need advice on moving from VHS to VCD/DVD. I use Nero v. 6.0.12, Athelon64/2.4g, Plextor 712, XP with an ATI All-in Wonder for capture. It seems to copy from tape to VCD OK, but the tape I want to copy seems to overdrive (for want of a better word)the copy procedure. In several places on the tape, the copy seems to bloom the white level and almost wipes out the picture. Is there any way to add an automatic or adjustable gain, perhaps on the analog signal to prevent this, or am I looking in the wrong direction for a cure? Any help appreciated. Thanks. RAG
