When d/l files from Limwire, are there any files that should be avoided burning and what are the best ones to get... ie, avi, mpeg etc?

Is there anything i can do when about to burn to maximise the quality/sound etc in Decrypter.

When using the Shrink programme to compress, it doesn't actually delete any of the movie does it?

Technology shits me!!!

avis will normally be smaller in size than an mpeg of the same video. Decrypter will not do anything for an AVI file.
You'll need a conversion program like VSO or DVD Santa to convert it to dvd and the final product will probably be small enough so that you won't have to compress it with DVD Shrink at all and you can burn it to dvd with no quality loss with whatever burning program you use.
