how can i burn a DVD with the chapters in it and be able to move though the chapters on a stand alone DVD player. Also, what program would i need to do this sort of thing?

When you rip a DVD you obtain some VOB's and one IFO file. Open IfoEdit, and open your IFO file. Click on VTS_PGCITI and select the main movie. Then click on Tools/Save celltimes to file. You will obtain a .txt file that must be added when you will merge all the files (m2v, ac3, sup)
