What a game last night between the Pistons and the Heat! The Detroit Pistons will take the Spurs in 6 games. That's Gauran-Sheed! Any other Detroit fans in here?

I don't want to see or hear anymore complaining about the matchup between the pistons and spurs. That's all i hear about, is how the two teams are going to make a boring finals, but in fact it's no surprise that the two teams are in the finals. People say the suns and heat should have been in the finals, screw that! Suns suck a defense and the heat only have two people that make up the entire team, wade and fat shaq. Shaq has no talent all he does is dunk because no one can guard his fat a s s. So it should be a good matchup and i pick the pistons in 6.

I was hoping that the Heat would win since I'm not much of a Pistons fan, but that didn't happen. It'll be a good match-up but I'm picking the Spurs to win in 7 games.

a fat man cant run with shaq,a fat man cant jump high then shaq, a fat man cant play avg 35mins in the NBA. Shaq is one of the best center of all time. Shaq makes a diff in a game. the heat was a team they didnt have a player like kobe who thinks hes better then the team. shaq toke the Lakes and the magic to the finals him self, with little help from Penny and Kobe. If shaq was 100% the heat would be in the final. shaq lost like 20 lbs in the off season and i think he will lose 10 more lbs in this off season. if you know the nba you will say shaq is one of the 50 greatest players of all time. and next year the heat will play the piss in the eastern finals next year and win.

if the lakers trade kobe for AI we will make the playoffs next year.
Dame kobe he raped the lakers out of he playoffs.

The Lakers will never get rid of Kobe. He is their franchise player. The Lakers rebuilt that team to make Kobe happy. They even got rid of shaq to make him happy. A.I. is really good but look what he has done for the sixers, they made it to the finals once. The sixers will never win a championship with him alone. The same with the lakers and Kobe. Kobe had good players around him like Lamar Odom and Cucky Atkins. You would never know it from the way he plays. Kobe is an arrogant a**. The Lakers have way too much invested in Kobe to ever let him go. But good luck with GM/team president/coach Kobe. Just think if he went to the clippers before this season started like he almost did Shaq still would be a Laker and the Lakers would have probably been in the playoffs. But now the Lakers are stuck with Kobe untill he retires, which probably will not be for 10 years.
If you can't tell, I really hate Kobe

no dont say that he wont let him self leave he will stay untiil he cant dunk, not even then will be like J. Rice. the contrack is for six years so kobe will be 30 or 31. dont you think the lakers will resingh kobe with 0 championship, i hope not. and why did kobe talk S*** about shaq kobe gave nothing to LA unlike Shaq after the lakers won the 1 or 2 championship shaq paid for cop cars. what team will trade a good player for kobe.is kobe like penny and scotty pipin cant win with out a good team, i think he is

People say shaq is a good center but the fact remains that shaq dunks about 85% of the time and when he can't dunk he does his hook shot which goes in abouot 50% of the time. If shaq wasn't fat then he would be the worse post man in the NBA. Tim Duncan is sooooooooo much better than fat shaq. So without his fatness shaq is nothing.

The Pistons looked horrible last night. We couldn't make a lay-up to save our life. These games are all going to be battles with the defense these two teams play. I will be surprised if either ever hit 90 points this series. I have confidence Detroit will win the next game!

I couldn't believe how many times detroit got their shots blocked in the paint, especially Rip. He never gets blocked. It was a pretty good game until the fourth quarter.

Tim duncan is not a good center, he is a basketball player but not a good center he is more like a PF. both wallace will make a better center then tim. the spurs wont win with duncan but will win with their SG and PG.

Well the Spurs have won again :) and only need two more games to win.

@smfsmusic,
The Spurs scored well over 90 points and the Pistons got killed in this game.

-Are the rest of you still thinking that Detroit will actually win the championship?

Yup looks like Detriots legs are shot ,two tough series in a row the Pacers and the Heat worn them out. Spurs just look like the fresher team and got alot of fast break points ,and Detriot just missing WAY to many EASY shots = a worn out team

ginobili,bowen and horry were the key factors in this game ginobili was all over the place and bowen and horry hit key 3's when they needed it,the pistons looked like they didn't want to play.The 4 quarter they made a run with hamilton and billup but,the 3 pointers put them away,I hope that when they play in detroit they will show more aggression and play like they should be there.

GO SPURS

Detroit has looked really bad since the second half of the first game. It's almost too embarrassing to watch. O'well maybe next year.

If the Pistons would spend more time playing, and less time crying about the officiating,they might just be able to win a game.
The way it looks now,they don't belong on the same court with the Spurs.

The Pistons finally won a game. The Spurs played horrible in this game but don't worry, they'll still win the championship.

Pistons will sweep at home. Detroit is too good of a team to let the Spurs run away with this series. They have the confidence now to pick up another win tonight 6/16 and tie up the series. When the Pistons are playing together as a team, nothing can stop them.
Final score prediction---> 88-82

Well, like I said that it was going to be a good match-up and it definitly was. I chose the Spurs to win in 7 and they did just that. Congratulations Spurs on being champions! The Lakers will win it next year now that they have Phil back.

This will be next year

I agree about the spurs, great game, great series.
As for the Lakeshow winning next year...very doubtful...not even Phil Jackson can win without a team.

yeah, I was kinda kidding about the lakers winning next year. they are one of my favorite teams but they'll never get close to the finals with the players they have now.
