Hello,

I'm having some trouble doing the TOC refresh on my PS2 slimline, using Swap Magic 3.6. After booting up with SM 3.6 I open the lid and the refresh TOC screen comes up. I inserted my original Mortal Kombat Deception (PAL). The only thing that happens when I closed the lid, was the following error: Not a valid PS2 disc in blue writing. I checked the disc, and it works perfectly.
I've tried using DVD Loader and get an "Error Initializing Disc" when I do the refresh.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

what mod do you have? The ps2 has to know you switched discs to do a toc refresh.

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero

I have the front sensor held down with tissue paper. When I want to do the TOC refresh I just take it out to ligt the sensor, so the PS2 does know that I've switched discs

Is sloppiness in speech caused by ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care.

Hi, I got the same problem when I open the lid. " insert a bigger TOC dis." will appear on the screen. when I insert an original PS2 dis, it'll say invalid ps2 dis. But the game can be load perfectly. If I insert an import game, it will be loaded.

I am using the "slim kit pro" same as slimtool and Swap magic 3.6.

I am wondering if the installation of slimtool is correct.

what will appear on the screen when you open the lid after displaying "Load program"?

Thank you very much for your kind help.

Thanks

I dont know how to use the TOC Refresh. I have made a backup of Shadow of rome using Taido Yuden DVD-R, Slimline PS2, Swap Magic 3.6 but when i try to load it, it says "invalid PS2 disc". I tried to patch and burn but it said the same thing. I tried to rebuild...same thing. Can someone please tell me how to use the TOC refresh on swapmagic 3.6?

I have the same problem as above using ps2 slimline and fliptop lid, it says insert the bigger toc disk. i insert it and close the lid but it still comes up with not a ps2 disk on swap magic. its version 3.6 as well.
