This is where I am. I have the X3 Chip and latest X3 bios. executer rox my box screen. I do not have a dashboard installed. I downloaded ( to my PC )the evox build 3935. I just can't get it into my xbox because the tutorials say to ftp it to your xbox but I thought you need the dash to be installed before you go trying to ftp.

By the way I have all the programs needed. ( Craxtion, Qwix, Flash fxp. )

I was looking for my ip address on the xbox but now I don't even get the regular dash board or bios dashboard the screen just remains with the xbox logo and the xecuter rox my box logo. So now I can't even get the info.

I also bought the cross over cable last night and the male ends are NOT identicle which is good. So I have the right cable I heard.

I have done well so far. I am so close but yet so far. Please give me some direction.

Thanks guys!

i think youll have to burn it to DVDR-RW.

what you should do is use slayers 2.6 final. you install everything right off the disk.

Mdsup, Thanks, but I'm a num nut. I can't FTP anything yet. I am trying my hardest to get this going. The best thing for me now is to Burn a cd with either Evox Dash or slayers and the load the disc into my xbox and install it. THEN I will start connecting my xbox to my PC.

What do you think? Am I going about it the right way?

Last question: without a game disc in my xbox shouldn't it boot up to the regular xbox dash? Right now it just hangs with the XBox logo and excut rox my box logo..Any thoughts?

not sure...

i think you should use slayers. i never burn anything cause i got no dvd burner. but i think you make it into a .iso then burn with Nero or whatever. actually slayers should already be an .iso i think.

i think you should go to www.torrentspy.com and get the slayers they have on that web site cause i know it works for sure and comes with FULL directions.

if you burn a evox boot disc you are gonna have to ftp the files over...if you use slayer's there is no ftp to do, slayer's will install everything for you.
