alright i just finished d/l 2 movies and i have done around 20 before those two without any play back probs but now when i open the avi files in Real Player the picture freezes after about 10 secs but the audio contines can neone help

Please grab the latest codecs (including ffdshow)

This should fix your problem. Xvid is constantly updating, along with FFDShow, and i'm always trying to catchup.
