I like them both, because they both support firmware update features. There is nothing wrong with either one, just try to stay away from the modchips that don't support update features.

This is kind of a pointless question, since most people who are going to reply have either one chip or the other, not both. Therefore, their opinions will be biased toward the chip they own. That said, the DMS4Pro does have more features when used with the "ToxicOS" firmware. Conversely, I have had installers who install both chips tell me the MI is a more stable chip, temperature-wise. Can't go wrong with either one.

I have two V12 PS2s: one with a DMS Pro and the other with a Matrix Infinity. Installation wise, the Matrix is much easier to install than the DMS Pro - the DMS Pro was a nightmare to install. I have had issues with the DMS Pro in one of my machines - so too have others - for whatever reason this mod chip overheats the PS2 after about 1 - 4 hours of game play and I have to switch off the PS2 for a bit to allow it to cool down. However, no such problem with the Matrix Infinity. Having said this, I had a DMS Pro installed in my V9 PS2 and it worked a treat - no overheating what so ever.
