i know this is not legal ,but my mate asked me to burn resident evil for him disc to disc, can i do it with nero,as i have tried and all he keeps getting is insetr format disc help
You need a ps2 chip or swap magic to play back-up games. You copy the game to your hard drive first with DVD Decrypter. Then burn the iso file with DVD Decrypter on good quality DVD+/-R.
Basically, you make an image of the disc on your harddrive using any of these programs, then you burn the image to disc. It allows for less chance of errors than burning disc to disc.
quite simple process.
Just remember a few things.
use good quality media like TDK,Philips,Verbatim,Ritec
I would not suggest burning any higher than 4X with an 8X disc and with a 4X disc i would just set the write speed to 1X. Most of the time i leave it set at 1X for all my burning no matter what type of disc i use.
And your PS2 must be modded either with a chip or you will need swap magic and one other modification (the other depends on if you have the chunky or slim PS2). Or just get a flip top with swap magic which i think is the easiest.
you never answered the question,is the ps2 modded.meaning does it have a modchip, swap discs or hard drive loader?and you probably could copy disc to disc but if it involes one drive to read it while the other copies it you might have a hard time copying it because alot of errore could pop up.if the copy disc option involves copying the game to the hard drive then swapping out the disc for a blank on one drive, then it should work fine(i do this most of the the time).depending on what mod you have you may have to copy some games another way.
