I've been burning DVDs for awhile now and I use DVD shrink to fit the movies on the 4.7 GB DVDs. But, I'm new to burning Ps2 games and I'm wondering if I could shrink Ps2 games with DVD shrink just like I do for movies. If not, what other methods could I use... step by step details would be nice if you have the time. Thanks!

im not 100% sure but i think it depends upon the game your trying to burn, some have dummy files etc

95% of the games you will not need to shrink. The ones you do are because the are DVD9 (dual layer like movies)
But there are just a few of those around and it is too technical so i never tried it. Plus i have a mod chip that will play dual layer back ups & a dual layer burner so i would just copy them to a dual layer disc.

If you are new read around a bit to see what will work best for you. It is not hard to do but there are many factors involved in abck up games like rebuilding ISO's and Patching games for online play, or patching games to work with boot discs.
Then of course there is getting boot discs and modification to your PS2 so you can play your back ups.

Just do your research, it will give you a much more informed plan on which way you want to go (mod chip or boot dics)
