VHS TRANSFER PROBLEMS

Hello,

I have a Sony PCVRZ22G Desktop and have been having some problems transferring VHS to DVD. My PC has the hook ups for a VCR and so I tried to back up my copyrighted vhs tapes. I have been able to transfer just two movies, for the rest I keep receiving copyright error messages. I am wondering what I can use to overcome this issue?

You'll have to buy some hardware.
Read a few posts in this forum (or search for "Macrovision"), and you'll find lots of reading.

Thank You for your reply. I have looked into macrovision some, I found out that the common problems were lines, distorted pictures, poor sound. My Picture and sound are all ok, do you think it still has to do with Macrovision?

Isn't their something to download for the pc to overlook the copyright problem?

Because of the hardware Sony put's in their machines, it's definitely macrovision.
The tapes will either work, or not. YOU won't see the lines, or blinking that others see, when using other hardware.
You cannot download magical anti-macrovision software. There is no such thing.
You WILL need some hardware. Start with a TBC, and possibly a video stabilizer.
