Had the same problem but just solved it. Present only files numbered 1 to 14 to Win Rar. This will produce a Bin and Cue which I used to burn an image to CD with Alcohol 120. The result plays in the PS2. First time played had to do a special boot (square key in the PS2) for some reason but next time just the ordinary (cross key). Hope this helps

Sorry, I should have clarified that I was, in particular, having a problem with Pinball Hall of Fame and it was files 1 to 14 on that game I was referring to.

You have 24 hours to take that crap out of your sig or be banned. You need to change your sig then go back and edit every single one of your posts containing that link. I'm going to check each and every one of your posts and if I see even one that you missed you're history.
While you're at it you need to read the forum rules.

How do you burn just the bin and cue files. I downloaded a game that has these directions. I don't now much about this stuff so any help would be great.
1) Unrar with WinRAR.
2) Burn the .bin and .cue files with Nero Burning Rom.
3) Install.
4) Copy over the cracked .exe from CD2.
4) And then play :)
ok, I know how to unrar it (I do use WinRAR).

Hi mrpepsiuk and Computerb, I've downloaded that pinball game as u guys did earlier. I've got the same problem encounter like yours now.I did followed what u guys have done before,to combine that 14 ptk-phof files and add it to WinRAR. Then following by using Alcohol 120 to burn it just like what Computerb mentioned. Unfortunately without no luck, perhaps I'm not very good in using Alcohol 120. Can you or Computerb please show me a more details way to use Alcohol 120 to burn that particular pinball WinRAR? All I can see when I WinRAR it and right click properties it still a WinRAR file and when I click open that WinRAR I still seen that 14 ptk-phof files inside it. Therefore there wasn't much I can do about it at this stage, so please anyone of u know how to help me break this out please reply me. Many thanks! :)

for WinRAR files you need to extract the bin image inside,
pinball hall of fame is a small image that needs to be burned onto a cd
1/open up the folder where the rar files are stored..you dont have to open winrar
2/you will see a whole bunch of "books strapped togther",in you case numbered up to 13 or 14,...like 001 002 etc
right click on the very first rar file, and chose "extract here",this will give you the bin/cue image
burn the bin image with dvd decypter
of you dont have the option of "extract here",chose "open with",
then find WinRAR.
it will then show you the graphical image of the bin file,
make a new folder on the desktop and open it
leave WinRAR open aswell as the new folder
drag the "bin image" over to the new folder
job done, just burn the image onto a cd

A big hello to those experts out there, I am desperately having a problem need to be solved urgently. Recently I have downloaded a game to be burned to a DVD for PS2. Unfortunately these files comes in "gi" form which was something more advanced problem for me to encounter with as a newbie. When I unrar it, inside it contained about 4 gi files (There are wrx-hggd.gi ,wrx-hggd (11).gi ,wrx-hggd (12).gi and wrx-hggd (13).gi).
I managed to try to use alcohol 120 to burn it to a DVD and it was successfully burned too. When I right clicked to the properties of that DVD ROM with that particular DVD game in, it was a correct CDFS form just like normal PS2 game. Now the problem here is when I inserted this game to PS2 what I can ONLY see on my TV screen was just a white color playstation 2 word, after a while the whole screen will turned to black screen without any responses. To be honest, I wasted about 5 copied DVD discs on this and none of them freaking worked. :(
Therefore anyone out there who encountered problem like this before or who knows the answer to this please , please and please reply to me and show me a proper way to solve this solution. A very big thank you for those who willing to help me.

burn the smallest gi file with DVD Decrypter,it will work work,it will only be about 2 /3kb,something like that,DVD Decrypter will pick up the other 3 gi files so dont worry
enjoy!!

Hi Hursty, Thanks again for replying me. Unfortunately,I've tried followed your instruction to burn that smallest GI file with the DVD Decrypter and it burned out successfully with all those files just like others PS2 games. The problem here now is when I inserted this game in PS2 and it won't played at all. But when inserted it to PC and explore to it you can seen files in it. :(
Well the original size for that file while still in a folder before I unrar it was 3.78GB(4,068,632,373 bytes). The name of the game is Haunting Ground [PS2]. After open that folder and inside you can see so many winrars (something like book icons. When you select on to one of that books by double clicked on it and then these GI Images files appeared [wrx-hggd.gi 2KB, wrx-hggd (11).gi 2,097,120KB, wrx-hggd (12).gi 2,097,120KB and final file wrx-hggd (13).gi)277,600KB.] So I selected the smallest GI file as you asked me to which is only 2KB. But still with no luck :(
Really hope you can figured out something about this. Hope this time I don't have to waste so many copy of DVD to experiment on with :P

you do not double click on the rar files...
hover the mouse over one of the rar files(the first one),and right click
select "extract here".
all 4 images will be extracted.....
3 fairly big ones,and 1 small one(about 2 kb)
open dvd decrypter(iso>write),
and select the smallest gi file.
burn at x 4,on good media..no crappy shit
the size when burned should be over 4 gb's,(4.3 i think)
and btw, this game contains dummy files, which in turn may cause a problem for you if you use swapmagic disks,(however people have said this works fine with swapmagic wothout removing them)

Hi Hursty, I managed to solved this problem already. I'd used the sonic recordnow software recommended by Miklodeon from ps2 - dvd backup discussion forum. And I've tried using your method by selecting the smallest GI image to burn, and it burned out so brilliant. Well...Now I'm not very sure whether whats wrong with it? perhaps the DVD disc I used not compatible with the DVD Decrypter program or maybe only this particular game so fussy and sensitive with DVD Decrypter. The strange thing when burned with DVD Decrypter was it just look absolutely perfect like normal burned successful game, but when inserted to PS2 time it won't played at all :P Anyway doesn't matter, I already managed to sort that out now. Hey mate! Once agian THANKS a lot man. You tought me lots in this and I will bear in mind next time when encountering problem like this. And meantime I could swap using these two programs and see if either which one can burn the game successfully.
