i have a new slim ps2 and installed the flip top cover but for some reason the swap magic wont start my orginal games dont start either
i'm not getting a spin on any disc. if i put the old flip cover my games work and swap magic. but i can't put in the back up using that cover or can i? please can anyone help thanks

Hi
the cover must not be pusing the 2 sensors down also check that the disc break is back or the disc wont spin. The easiest thing to do would be to stick the sensors down with a small piece of BluTack take a look here http://www.jspot.net/ps2.htm it will give you an idea where the sensors are.

i need more info do i only put blu tact on that one senor in the picture
or do i have to get those three pieces

Hi
Im not familiar with the flip top because i just stuck the sensors down, but the theroy is the same. You dont need to get the magic switch now you have the fliptop. Just double check that the fliptop is lining up over the sensors and keeping them pressed down.You can also keep the disc break back with a small piece of tissue paper stuck in the hole.
