THCill,

The media that has the "ScubaPete" stamp of approval would be - Sony, RiData, Ritek G04's and Verbatim DataLife. I've found excellent prices from Mertline.com - Prices do change so "Google" before you buy. I've even gotten good prices for small quanities from ebay -

Say when I get the media. Cant I just copy the Video_TS files to the CD Using Nero Burning Rom 6.0?
I certainly hope you meant DVD's and not CD's. -

Cheers,

My dvdrw wouldn't work after I reformatted Windows XP. I updated my firmware and still have not mad a coaster. Your dvdrw drive probably needs to be updated. Goto the manufacture's website and download a firmware update I believe. Also, some of my dvd players wouldn't play my dvd's and some would. To fix this problem I selected the correct region instead of region free and they now have played everything that was burned in the correct region.

If somebody was downloading a movie from the Net they have to render it in some way, alter its form. Usually they use something like NeroVision or TMPGEnc to take it from an AVI to a MPEG. A MPEG isn't fully DVDB Compliant. You need a program like TMPGEnc DVD Author to take it from MPEG to your fully compliant VOB's.

That is then put into a VIDEO_TS folder and burned with the stove of your choice :) A fully DVD Compliant DVD able to play on a circus Ferris wheel if you can get it to go fast enough -

cheers,

Pete

Don't repete your the ScubaPete!

I'll say it buy Ritek G-04 "branded" (ie.Ridata) or Verbatim "datalife" you won't lose with these.
