Which mod-chip should I get? Which one is the best and which one is the easiest to install?

for all those people that try to play a back up game recorder by DVD Decrypter, first they have to run the swap magic. version 2.0 from now and then introduce the copy...

Halo all, hope i do get a reply!
im currently using "Princo" media for my ps2 backups.
and now and again the console struggles to read the disks, and after a couple resets works.
i spoke to the place that installed my mod chip "Dms3"
and said i should only use Verbatim or Ridta media , as other media will damage the lens.
is this true? becuae i get princos at a very good price.

DvdWizardry is a ripoff company charging $40 for DVD Decrypter, but you don't realize that when you order, because they make you believe that it is a new software....beware! Just remove the verify check mark, and every ps2 game will copy beautifully! Better than 321 gamesxcopy! 321 had a lot of bugs, much like all of their products!

i was reading all the things you wrote and i still have a question. When i burn my game on dvd-r at 2x and try play, it will boot to to the "press start button" screen and freeze. I trided Getaway Black Monday, Mercenaries and Def Jet Fight for NY. I burned Jak 3, punisher and other games smaller size and they work fine. I read about swap magic fix i downloaded it , but can somone tell me how to use it , what program to use to patch it in the game.

Hi Siege
If you have already backed up your PS2 game and wrote it to disc use Nero to copy it to disc again just go on disc to disc like you would a copied DVD if it has been backed up once you dont have to do it again..

Are there any region converting patches that would enable me to reburn a game and play it on my US version PS2?? Basically I have spanish/japanese/euro versions of some games that I'd very much to like to play.
what you found was eternal death...
