Yeah, sorry, but since I have never used printable discs I haven't really looked into them much. I just know that sharpies work best on the media I use, and they are the safest, and I just stay away from the others because my system works fine for me.

I had some problems with the Ritek printable DVD-R's, but not nearly the problems you are having. I did switch to The Prodisc x8 white ink jet printable DVD-r's and have perfect results. So I am sticking with the Prodisc from now on. Also the Prodisc's let you print all the way to the center (No hub).
