thers is a rip kit called winhex,i have just installed it,whether it is up to job ,i dont know..
i have not used it yet,so dont anyone ask me how to use it!!!

I have an ISO image for a game. I burned it using DVD Decrypter. it loads but then at the loading screen it stops. It does'nt go any farther then the loading screen. Can someone please help me??

What game was it..Just wanted to know. And i thinkthe problem with that is the ISO file must be corrupt or something. I happened to me too with Mercenerie: playground of destruction.

The game was NBA street VOL 3. But i tried burning it again through gamejack 4 and it worked. Oh and i have mercinaries if anyone wants it. just give me your email and i will send you an iso of it.

hi i`ve followed your instructions and i`m using arita dvd+r and infiniti dvr-r and swap magic 3 but on the ps2 i get the message not a valid ps2 disc can you help cheers thejam

When i usually download games,i first open the last .rar part. For example : if the game has 12 parts of .rar files, i will open the part 12 which will also have the lowest size (packed).I will extract it to someplace. Then i burn it using gamejack (you can download a demo(the demo lets you try it for 15 days without any limit) go to http://gamejack.org/) and it works fine for me. I don't really know a lot about swap magic since i use a modchip. Hope this helps

thanks for help for backing up dvd games mate, couldnt of done it with out u...(note Sarcasm). Seriously backing up dvd games is pretty easy and was pointless making an enitre new thread about the same thing that has been posted so many times.

When burning ps2 games with DVD Decrypter. Besides using Nero 6, can you use roxio to burn the iso image? Or I should use Nero 6.

yes roxio can burn iso images but i always use Nero and have had no problems

Hey all!
I'm new to all this (burning games) but i do have a mod chip installed already and use the gameshark to load with a boot cd and plays the burnt disks. I have a buddy who burns them for me, but I've got a DvD burner now so I'd like to learn. I dl'ed DVD Decrypter and ripped EA Sports NHL 2005 and got 2 files (NHL2005.ISO & NHL2005.MDS). Now I used Nero 6 Ultra Edition and had no problem burning it using your directions but i only burnt the .ISO file and not the .MDS file. The burnt game loads but then freezes at the first image you see in the game. I also tryed using DVD Decrypter for writing it too and had the same exact problem. Now i'm not sure if i have to burn both files together or what.
I also have CloneCD and ripped it but got 5 files. IMAGE.000 to IMAGE.003 are 1GB big and IMAGE.004 is 334MB big. The last file is an IMAGE.dvd file and is 1KB big. So i ain't sure what to do.
I've had a few guys help me out but i can't figure it out. My buddy uses Sonic Record Now 4.5 and has no problem. So i'm reading these forums and see info about all info that i've gathered from a bunch of people and nothing seems to work.
I've also got AnyDVD v4.3.0.1 and CloneDvD2 and Daemon Tools. Will any of these work with what i got? Any suggestions?
(i also have a dvd player)
