Dude I'm not the nmph or whatever i can't spell his name. It is possible I ran into this thread looking for some more evox skins, along with halo 2 mods. I don't have to prove anything to you. I really have no idea of emulators but after reading alot of crap on the net some say its "possible" while others say in order for an emulator to work the hardware has to be close to 3x better then the software..once again this isnt a fact this is just what ive seen on the net.

xboxwizzif tell me what emulator you used with your linux so that everyone who like to belive you can try it for themselves (I will not be one of them).

Even if this guy "programmed" with linux, it couldn't possibly be an emulator. He would've had to program and use the same codecs and specifics a ps2 has, meaning he would have to dump all that from his ps2 (FTP or the other way (can't think of how to do it)

hey 1 day someone will get it in there head u canrt play ps2 games in a xbox!! the real rason is becuz xbox is way to good for that crappy system... lol i had 1 in tell christmas then it was out of my life 4 ever cuz xbox has such good graphic's

you know, all that trash talk reminds me of the old days when the all migthy NES came out, every1 was talking about of wich was better the genesis or the NES, and people said the NES because it could play genesis games, all you had to do was to remove the little cover under it and hook up an adaptor for genesis cartriges and voila you got a genesis, never saw anythig of that but belived it becasuse some one that seems to know a little more than me about games told me, so do xbox plays ps2 games?? (still dont know why people have xbox, sold mine and bougth another ps2)only history will tell!!..........

I understand that when you are passionate about something you tend to get emotional. But these forums are about technology and logic. There is no need to get emotional, your message gets lost in the midst of rage. There are people on both sides, each backing up with their own "facts" if it can be done so be it, if it can't be done we should find a way to do it, instead of saying "no it can't be done" and when the moderator said no personal attacks I am assuming he meant everyone in the forum. I cant belive people can really be this ignorant.
a 4.5 GHZ will run PS2 slow but a 700 mhz xbox can.. ya sure. ok
and my atari 2600 can emulate dreamcast...

my point
a PS2 is real cheap on ebay, go get one, have 2 machines and look cool and funky.
With emulation youre running a program, to run a game basically, and this is why it needs more power, its not running from the hardware it was MEANT to run on, hence needs more power to run it.
But.......if you want both, I still say go buy a PS2:-)
XB360 hitachi xtreme f/ware, chameleon case, whisper & airflow blue led. XBOX w/ 2.6 2x custom "djboogie" bios. PSP 1.50 w/ devhook .52 % 303 f/ware.

no offence to ps2 fans but xbox literally s**t on ps2 because of the crappy graphics, the crappy saving system the crappy games only good games are the gta games which are now on xbox, the crappy controllers and the crappy set up and a whole lot of other things no offence again and i have played both a lot so i can say which is better so ps3 better catch up or xbox next will be sevenfold better
Halo 2 is da bomb!!!

YES do i have to spell it out for u? Y-E-S but you wouldnt dare use an emu, so in turn you are correct. All u need to do is buy and xbox and if you know anything about computers, HACK THE CRAP OUTTA IT! IT SHOOD ONLY COST ABOUT 2,000,000$ OR SO AND THEN WE'D ALL LAUGH AT U GUYS. BUT SERIOUSLY LEARN ABOUT COMPUTERS AND THEN U CAN.
