Steps:-
- Open CDGenPS2 v3
- Drop the SNESv0.2.3's content in order:
-system.cnf
-snes_emu.elf
-install.cnf
-A folder named "Roms" with roms
NOTE: Do not edit the LBA to 12231.
- Edit the volume if need
- Just click on Image to make the Image file
- Open up Alcohol burnning program then select "Burn Image Wizard"
- select the data type as "Playstation2" and the speed either 2x or 4x
Then put in your PS2 ~ ENJOY! grin

Tryed it as zipped AND non-zipped. I even tried other emulator - my guess would be PGEN is the only one that works.

nero won't let me select "iso level 2"... you change this under the "view" tab? that's the only place i saw "iso level 2", and i couldn't select it(it wasn't bold, it was grey).
am i in the right area to change it? i am using Nero 6, creating a new iso disc...

It seems that SNES station just don't want to cooperate with some Swap Magic versions, and it seemst that issue has something to do with emulator's coding because some people are planning an unofficial update to fix this.
Unzipping ROMs won't affect to SNES station's functionality, it can read zipped ones aswell as extracted ones. Directory where you put them doesn't have to be called "ROMS", you can name it as you want and use separate directories and subdirectories: Only thing you must remember is that amount of files and directories in disc's root should not exceed 32.

Names shouldn't make any difference, probably the issue is caused by wrong burning method or Swap Magic.

this also helps a lot on loading time and you can swap freely and your ps2 wont mind. I have a title.db file that has 800 ps1 games on it so pretty much any ps1 game u think of will be picked up on your memory card. just get in touch if ya want more info
I really appreciate the help.

ok i got it to work! you need to make sure all the roms are smc files. i have a grip of rom files that were just named but didnt have a file type assigned to them. just tag on .smc to all your roms and snes station will see them

Iam playing my snes sation right now and it DOES PLAY ZIPPED ROMS AND IT EVEN SAYS SO ON THE OFFCIAL SITE!!!
THE BEST WAY IS TO PUT A PS2 EXPLOIT OF PS2MENUK ON YOUR MEMORY CARD AND LOAD IT UP WITH A PS1 GAME. yOU CAN THEN PUT IN YOUR SNES STATION DISC IN AND HIT R1 TO SEE ALL THE HARDWARE HOOKED TO YOUR PS2, CLICK ON cd0 TO BRING UP THE SNES STATION DISC. THERE THEN WILL BE EVERYTHING THERE YOU PUT ON YOUR DISC. YOU SHOULD PUT ALL YOUR ROMS IN A FOLDER(zIPPED OR UNZIPPED) SO IT EASIER TO TELL WHAT TO CLICK ON. PS2MENUK ONLY LOADS .ELF FILES SO YOU CAN USE THIS TO PLAY SEGA, NEOGEO, GAMEBOY, NES, ETC. ONCE YOU PRESS X ON THE .ELF FILE IT WILL THEN LOAD AND YOUR ROMS WILL WORK. TO DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THEY WORK, YOU CAN TRY ON YOUR COMPUTER OR YOU CAN LOOK AT THE FILES ON YOUR DISC AFTER YOU HIT X ON cd0. i USED TO HAVE TROUBLE LIKE YOU GUYS IN THE PAST BUT THIS EXPLOIT MAKES EVERYTHING EASIER.
GOTO THERE TO GET THE EXPLOIT U PREFER AND IF N E ONE HAS QUESTION THEN HIT ME UP AIGHT, 1

THIS ALSO GETS RID OF USING CDGEN SO ITS THE BEST WAY TO GO IN MY OPINION AND IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE EXPLOIT THERE IS NUMEROUS WAYS TO GET IT ONTO YOUR MEMORY CARD WITH OR WITHOUT MODDING SO TRUST ME, TRY IT!!!
I really appreciate the help.

Hi,
I am new to this, just wondering if you could use swap magic v2.0 and a flip top with snes station? I tried to burn it a couple times and everytime the swap magic cd loads and when i put in the snes station and hit X the red outline comes up?

Hello everyone,
Thanks for all the tips.
I have followed your instructions and the CD boots up to a screen that says "Playstation", Then it stays right there. I am using a modded PS2 with Magic 3.1
I tried it with 145 games and then again with only 3 games in the ROMS directory, but they both do the same thing.........what am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any advise.

i have a version 9 ps2 with a fliptop mod,a version two swap magic, dvdloader, tekken three, and the snes station with 300 roms. first off download cdgen and install it. open cdgen drag and drop the system config and the elf file. then drag and drop the rom folder(make sure the rom files end in .smc just rename the file so that it ends in .smc) then right click the system config file. edit the lba so that the number is 12231.now click image. burn the image to any blank cdr (quality doesnt realy matter) now take the disc and boot it. if you are lucky u have a mod chip but i wasnt so lucky so heres what i do and it works every time. 1st boot swap magic(i have version 2) then when prompted swap the disc and insert dvd loader. when it boots hit triangle and take dvd loader out and put in any ps1 game( i use tekken three it seems to work as a boot for anything)once it sees the disc open the flip top and put in the disc with snes. it works voila! make sure you labeled the dang roms with .smc and it will see those darn roms
