Open TMPGEnc. Cancel the wizard.
Click File, mpeg tools.
Click on Simple De-multiplex.
Load your mpg (Browse) on the Input.
Click RUN.

What's the error?
If the mpeg stream (video) is not dvd compliant, dvdlab usually gives an error you must fix.
If the audio stream is not dvd compliant, dvdlab usually offers to fix it for you.

I did what you said in the TMPGEnc now I have it in Cuttermaran and I am about to cut/audio/video that I do not want. I did not touch any settings. It states that it is finished. First it will only save it as a Cuttermaran project. When I try to import the asset it does not list it as an available option to import.

When you click on "Cut Video/Audio" does it not give you a place to save it?

So you've made a "start cut in" point, and a "start cut out" point, added it to "Cut Points", then click Cut Audio/Video...there should pop open a window, with the option to change the name and place you save it to.

Ok I was able to change the name and I saved it to the same folder. I went to DVD Author to import asset and it would not show the name from cuttermaran that I saved. So I could not import the file?

Check the filenames. You should have an .m2v and .mpa or .mp2 or .AC3 files.
TDA should accept these with no trouble.

Ok Thanks that worked now my question is why did it save the cut file of mine? I thought when you cut the file it takes it out of the video?

Two ways to do it. Cut out what you don't want, or cut out what you DO want. Cuttermaran works backwards to the way most people think.
Sorry for the confusion.

I was able to do it by cutting what I wanted but I am not able to do it by cutting what I don't want.
