Here's a list that works with a v7/8 PS2, with swap magic dvd 2.0, that do not need any special steps.
Ace Combat 5
Air Force Delta Strike
Bujingai - The Forsaken City
Conflict: Desert Storm
Conflict: Desert Storm II - Back To Baghdad
Conflict: Vietnam

Lethal Skies

Also, I burned these games with Alcohol 120% (A120).

Y's: The Ark of Napishtim would not work. It hangs on the Now Loading.... screen. Used DVD Decrypter and SwapMagic 3. Ive read that others have had the same problem. Hoping for a fix....but seriously doubt it.

i've personally considered building a small .TXT file with all the games alphabatized in order. thoughts...ideas anyone? maybe we could host it here as well? it'd only be a few KB's in size.

I backed up Tekken 5 with no problems as well, using DVD Decryptor and Swap Magic 3.3.

what is the best software for burning ps2 & xbox games?

Alcohol is the best for PS2. For XBox, you need to copy the game to your XBox harddrive and FTP it to your computer and burn with DVD-R. Check xbox-scene. Some game boot better with mod.

I tried to back up NBA Street V.3 using the patch from DVD rick and it still froze at the loading screen. I have the SwapMagic 3.3 and the slide card. Any idea why its not working?!

Backed up Brother in Arms and it did not need any special procedures. Worked like a charm, I used Nero 6.0.

guys i have not SwapMagic 3 for my playstation ,i just have the usual ps2 modchip. can i play all this games you report even tekken 5 ?

if you have a decent modchip,you need not worry about too much about loading problems
swapmagic is for those who do not wish to invalidate there warranty/use soldered modchips.
however it has its disadvantages
myself however have a modchip and dont need to worry about such problems to a certain extent

We should only mention games that need diff spcial methods to backup not ones that work fine cause do we really want to least like over a 1000+ games here and search page after page for blank this game?

what about rainbow six 3 I was able to back it up, but unable to play it on my slim playstation console using swap magic 3.3. when i put the swap disk in then when it says load i put the back up disc in and then it say invalid ps2 game. I burned the dvd with decry. on a sony 4x disc dvd-r with a sony dvd rw player. Does this one need to work with a cd or dvd loader also? or is there a patch? any help would be great
