As you sea, even though you didn't answer all our questions, you provided us with enough information to offer some help.
As you've been told and I'm sure you're aware, you're pretty low on memory. Working with Video files is extremely processor/resource intensive. It's nothing at all like working with CD's (Lol)
Quote: Physical memory : 247MB (253296kB)
Free physical memory: 40MB (41436kB)
Memory in use : 83 %
That's a problem that you have SOooo, let's try to find a solution working with what you've got, . . . . . To work with what you have, let's go to msconfig ~ Startup tab ~ Disable all ~ Apply ~ OK ~ OK again to reboot. By doing this, we'll free up all of your available resources. The only thing you really need in startup is your AV proggy and your Firewall.
Suggestion: Instead of burning in the ISO mode, try burning using Nero Burning ROM and burn in the File (VOB format) mode. That way it's a little less intensive and that will help also.
Now, disable your screensaver and allow your PC to operate without any interference OR, KEEP AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTER WHILE IT'S WORKING !
Let's give that a try and sea how we do, alrightie ?
Hi all,
Thanks you for your effords.
As i said before i have no problems at all if i use TDK branded DVD media but only with one model od DVD. Recording goes smooth without any problems. These models that work, in Nero are repored as Ricoh disks and not TDK and i do not have any problems at all. But if i use other models of TDK disc i got errors posted in my previous message. This points to me that there is some problem with DVD drive or firmware (even i have latest firmware), but i need confirmation, since i can not complain in service because they are saying that this DVD can work only on high quality DVD media?
