Hey I just wanted to say thanks!! I had a little trouble at first with the "FTP CONNECTION FAILED" message. But after toying around with it I got it to work. I had to pair up my phone and PC a second time. Its working perfectly now. Thanks again!

I wish I knew what causes the "FTP connection" so I could warn of how to avoid it. Somehow I never got that problem, but it seems that it happens easily. Glad to hear you like the bluetooth alternative.

back to the hard times cafe for me.. the phone connects I can open the hands free gateway and that stuff but i try to do the file transfer and it sits for a while and then it says error establishing connection. and its pissin me off!

well after some reconnect and restarts got it back goin smoothly.. just seems that its a bit touchy. I used audacity and with a plugin for it, it will export it as a mp3 itself. Works nicely and very easy to learn.

I have the motorola v710 and I can't seem to get past the ftp connection failure. Any thoughts or advice on it?

Try pairing up you pc and phone again you will probably have to remove the first "pair up" from your phone and pc.
