I just got a psp with the software version 2.60. Is there any hope for me playing modded or emulated games?

sorry, but probably not. stay tuned to http://www.pspcrack.net to see if any thing like that happens, because they have gotten unsighned code(helloworld, very very basic, like plain white text 1 line long) to run on a 2.01 and a 2.5 maybe 2.6 one day. but let me warn you, those helloworlds for 2.01 and 2.5 were run using the real Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories umd.

ok ive had my psp since christmas and i know how to do everything on it except hack it. and i cant get the homevrew on it i tried the tutorial that someone set up but when im at exploit which file do i go to theres MS1 and MS2. which one do i go to? i went to MS2 and i got the psp connected and i clicked generate and an error comes up saying "on the folder C:PSP/GAME you found two folders, one is called JAKE and the other is called JAKE% if you must copy some file more than it needs the program, you must put it in folder C:PSP/GAME/JAKE plese enjoy!" and its pissing me off what do i do?

I am another lost soul seeking the knowledge of putting VBA roms onto my psp >.> I did all the things Solargame said, so now my psp has a UMD emulator on it. However when I copy my roms over into the folder, my psp can't play it...help.

hey uhh solargame im trying to put this DBZ game on my psp i jst dowloaded from torrent it comes with some intructions but they dont help at all can u please give me some info on wat i need 2 do 2 make this game work thnx!

Hey i downloaded the game from www.psp-hacks.com but after i download it and unzip it, i put into my PSP. I go under PSP, Game, and place it in their. After i look at it in m PSP. the mario theme and music comes on but when i click the x button it says corrupt data. Can someone help? I really don't know what to do to make it work!

Ok, I went to psp-hacks.com and I downloaded an emulator, then the Kxploit tool. When I went to unzip the emulator it said file was corrupted or damaged. Now normally I wouldn't complain about just one failure, till I did again and again and it still came up the same. I tried it with 7 different emulators and they are all corrupted. Has anyone else havin this problem? I know its not me, I know how to download and open emulators right, cause I have doing it for the past few years now to play sega and nes roms. Let me know whats up.

Is it a TA-82 or TA-86 mother board to know open your UMD Drive and look if there is writing in the PCB if there is it's probably a TA-82 or TA-86 motherboard if there isn't writing there it isn't a TA-82 nora TA-86 PSP....

ok this is confusing and all, 1st question: will it work w/ a psp that is V3.0+? 2nd:do i need homebrew? 3:i'm trying to emulate psp roms on my psp 'cuz the emulators wont work on my comp... help...
