sorry might want to check the message i left before i asked some more questions in it...you said you tried it on dvd-5s..i know you really want it on DVD-9 though...but it might be worth a shot..you can adjust how much to write on the DVD-5 and there is a deep analysis that would help in the compression and quality of the movie..sorry to keep going back to the DVD-5 method..i know it's probably like beating a dead horse but..it's a cheap way of correcting mistakes...cuz by the time you fix the problem on the dvd-9's you could have bought another copy of the movie...good luck..gotta get back to work..try to look at the post later.. ;)

Heh, what i'm gonna do is split it to 2 dvd5's then return my bad dvd9's to best buy and get my money back.

The 2 dvd thing worked great, best buy took my dvd dl's back and refunded me :), and the movie kicked ass.
