I got hooked on Family Guy a couple of months ago. Until then I watched all my Futurama dvds to death. All three are excellent viewing. The humour is way out there. I find that it depends on my mood as to which is 1st choice.
Bender & Brian are the FUNNIEST characters, Zap Brannigan rocks.
Matt Groening has a wicked sense of humour. I believe he is a big fan of Monty Python, good old fashioned, anarchic, sarcastic, politically incorrect - (WHOOPPEEE!!) humour. Top man!

The Simpsons were the best then Futurama came and was #1 and know family Guy. the Simpsons are getting old. i use to see it every week. didnt miss one until i got my xbox now i just watch FG.

@ Kinza, if you enjoy the Simpsons, you will LOVE Family Guy. I held back for ages before I rented it, I now have 3 series on dvd. It compliments the humour of Simpsons & Futurama, leant more to adult/political satire, like Futurama.
I can only highly recommend a look if you get the chance. You will NOT regret it!

Simpsons hands down for me,they are the originators of shows like that so they win it for me.Family Guy is funny don't get me wrong,but I like the Simpsons which made the reality funny cartoons possible.If it wasn't for the Simpsons would Family Guy exist,just a question to ask.

Stewie alone takes the cake! He is so damn funny and recently he has been in the episodes a lot more. Back in the day is wasn't in them as much but now he is getting a lot more air time and I love it! So thats a vote for FG for me. Also Seth MacFarlane is a very amazing person when you think about it because he does the voice of Peter, Stewie, Brian, and Quagmire on Family Guy as well as Stan and Roger on American Dad and they all sound very different.

SOUTH PARK
family guy and simpsons humor is tame compared to south park(pg-13 compared to nc-17).family guy is more adult oriented while simpsons is more for kids.so since im an adult,i find family guy to be funnier.but overall,south park is the funniest.
