Have any of you guys tried what I posted earlier? Because I get a black screen with all EA games unless I use this method.

Has anyone burnt it successfully by:

1. Using DVD Decrypter, copying the files to the HD then burning it using DVD Decrypter?

2. Using Nero, going to copy disc and copy the disc?

you need to rebuild the iso using nero burning rom

Step 1.
Decrypt the ps2 game to your hard drive using dvd decryptor.

Step 2.
Open up Isobuster and load in the image file.

Step 3.
Hold shift and highlight all the game files and put them in a folder.

Step 4.
Open up Nero burning rom and create a new UDF/ISO dvd (It's the last one in the list). Drop all the game files into Nero in the same order as it is listed in Isobuster. Just keep Isobuster open as a reference when you do this. Nero will change the order of the files graphically, however they burn in the order that you dropped them in.

Step 5.
Name the image and burn it at 4x.

Step 6.
Presto, you've rebuilt and burned a PS2 game. Play it.

hey pritesh...
this aint for me bur for a friend...if u could explain the process u went thru rebulding the game...i think id appreciate it..
also did u rebuild the game or how did u do it..
as far as the game lagging..
heres somethin u can do..
if ur rebuildin using cd/dvdgen try to put the system and sles file before the audi and iop folders...some of them say it doesnt make a difference when u do that..but it did for me when i had problems with some other game..but yeah..u could try that..
also...sometimes its the 2.4x that messes up the burning..i burn most of my games at 4x..it works fine...try to burn at 4x..cos the .4 screws up alot i read in some other thread...
check that out..media sometimes can b a problem...
well thats abt all i can suggest..good luck let us knw how it went if u decide to rebuild..
k catch u later

well u could try this
once u make the image of the game...
use isobuster on it to extract the data
so that when u extract it it looks like this(im not sure of the file order for that game):

AUDIO
IOP
SYSTEM
SLESXXXX

once uve extracted the files...
use cd/dvdgen 2.0 to rebuild the game...
drag and drop the files in this order

SYSTEM
SLESXXXX
AUDIO
IOP

then click record...make sure u get 2 errors(for some its 3..thats ok tho) if u dont get 2/3 errors leme knw..ill tell u what to do...
it should ask u to save the file as a .iml
name it as C2k5.iml and click ok...

now get this tool from "gnie" called iml2iso
it should b available at www.alucard.cc
if its not there search for it on yahoo or google..and im sure u'll find it..
open the program..(this program should b in the same folder as ur .iml file)
and run the program..it will ask for the location of the iml file..then it rebuilds the game...it takes bout 10mins depends on speed of computers...
then i'd say try burning either with Alcohol 120 or DVD Decrypter at 4x..
now the whole reason we do this process is because sometimes when u use swap magic the TOC is pretty large and it needs to system and sles files to play the game..when its not accessible properly the game lags(thats my conclusion..someone correct me if im wrong)
so try this method out...
it shud work fine after this...
let me knw how it goes...
good luck

incase u dont really wanna wait

http://img88.exs.cx/img88/4898/ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.jpg

thats another link..once u click on it...it should download immediately
once u run the program...
i suggest leaving the offset to 48...if its too high sometimes games dont work...
and pn selector is if u want a game to display a PAL or NTSC display on startup..id suggest having that unchecked

and thats bout it

@ darkinu88

i think brian lara's out on the 21st July, thats the date for the PAL version on Amazon at least.

It'll be worth waiting for as Cricket 2005 just isn't a lot of fun! It'll ruin your faith in cricket. Batting is impossible, like someone else in this thread has mentioned.

I got it working fine with USBextreme if that helps anyone at all. I know some ppl use SM and USBextreme.
