hi

i use avi2dvd and film machine both with CCE and what the XviD looks like before is what it looks like after

AMAZING - just time span takes 3 hours

but try DivXtoDVD ther is a free app the quailty and speed is something else, but time is not an issue for me, i set avi2dvd or film machine and like now i surf burn discs and when it finishes its kool whatever time span

but DivXtoDVD can get you files done ready for burning in 1 hour and a half?

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

hi

where did you get xvid from then?

if you got vob/ifo/bup files they are ready to burn if the right format ntsc or pal ? and the right size to fit the dvdr and also correct aspect ratio

I was told that this fantastic 4 I have is xvid format and will only play in an xvid dvd player. All I know its in the vob format.what exactly should I do to convert it to ntsc for mat I m not sure like I said I got it from someone and thats what he told me. I thought it was odd that it has vob files etc...

how can I find out what type of files they are ntsc or pal?

hi

does it need converting? load a vob to avicodec or gspot to tell you waht it is! or load a vob to divxtodvd or anything to tell you waht it is, it may be good to go...

is the size ok to fit dvdr?

probably an xvid download converted to vobs then iso ready to burn

can you list all files here full names or load to dvd shrink to see if main movie only - no menus / extras

if a set of vobs like

vts_01_01.vob
vts_01_02.vob

to 05

and no more like this

vts_02_01.vob

then main movie only

i have a question about the DivXtoDVD software. i downloaded the trial verion, liked it, and bought it. however, as stupid as it sounds, i cant figure out how to view the login key they sent me in a zip file. i used WinRAR to unpack and opened the created folder which asked me if i wanted to add it to my registry. fine. but when i re opened the program it promped me to manually enter a login key. where the hell is it? its not in the file as far as i can tell. has anybody used this program that can enlighten me? i e mailed their support but they have not replied. why cant they just put the reg. key in the e mail?
thank you
