Stitch221, how long to get to addict status depends on how often you post. i was senior just over month, addict status just under 4 month. presently over 9k. don't start useless threads especially in safety valve as is frowned on & could get you banned. do a search for rap4life & you'll see what i mean.

I never made a pointless thread on saftey value. I mean I remember when I was a newbie I didnt know anything in this website so I posted a thread in the Game Cube Back Up. It was POINTLESS, but lets not get off task.

All it means is we're addicted to helping. Believe me it can just be a right royal pain as there are people who do care about status, and they're the ones who take pot shots at you. Only a couple days ago some junior member (nuthin wrong with bein a junior, I've only mentioned it cus said person would have maybe been here long enuff to know how the forum works) took offense cus I commented on someone being banned for blatantly promoting piracy. that poster wouldn't have had such a beef had I not been an addict (the giveaway was that the poster mentioned I was an addict I think twice in his/her demented little rant).
Anyway, as long as you're giving good help 2 people who cares about status, its nice to help people, some of them even say thanks :)

Becomming a Senior Nenber was a tramatic experience for me .. I woke up the next morning and lo and behold, my hair had turned grey .. No, wait, I guess I suddenly noticed that it had turned grey .. No, wait, suddenly I had gained the ability to notice that it had turned grey .. I think that Senior Membership has increased my IQ a good 10% .. WOW! .. Now I'm so damn smart that I am having trouble living with myself .. I sure hope that if and when I become addicted to AD that my hands will stop shaking ...
